Brian Corson, LSW, CRPS; Founder & Executive Director of MVP Recovery. Brian is a Licensed Social Worker earning his Master of Social Work Degree from Widener University and is certified in both Trauma Counseling and Relapse Prevention. Brian has over a decade of experience working in the addiction treatment field holding roles from Substance Abuse Counselor to Clinical Director. Brian is a member of the Delaware County Heroin Task Force and works directly with local, state, and national leaders in creating initiatives to combat addiction and support recovery. Brian assisted in the creation of legislation with the PA State Senate to regulate and certify recovery homes throughout PA. Brian has been featured on NBC10, Action News, Fox29 and other news outlets sharing his expertise on addiction, treatment, and recovery. Brian was the recipient of the 2017 “Delaware County Prevention Award” for his commitment to prevention, awareness, & recovery throughout the community. Brian has been recognized and featured as a 2019 “Health Care Hero” by Main Line Today magazine for the role he has played in assisting others on their path to recovery from addiction. Brian has a clinical counseling private practice that focuses on Trauma based therapy & Relapse Prevention. Brian is also an Adjunct Professor at Widener University where he teaches a Graduate Level Social Work Course on Addiction Treatment. Brian is a life long Delaware County resident and is also a person in long-term recovery. Brian currently resides in Delaware County with his wife Christine and their three children.
